The inspiration stems from the Webby Awards’ famous five-word speech limit and the viral daily engagement of games like Wordle. According to co-founder Julia LeStage, the goal is to stop treating dating like a job hunt. “This is not LinkedIn. Where has the fun gone?” she noted, echoing a growing frustration among users of established platforms like Tinder.
