EverNitro: The End of Expensive Nitro Coffee Cartridges? – Ankor Tech

XBrew Lab officially unveiled its flagship countertop nitro beverage machine, EverNitro, at CES 2026 this week. Designed to disrupt the home brewing market, the device allows enthusiasts to craft café-quality nitro coffee without the recurring costs and environmental waste associated with traditional, cartridge-dependent systems.

The Science Behind the Smooth Pour

Nitro coffee is cold brew infused with nitrogen gas, a process that forces tiny bubbles into the liquid. This infusion results in a silky-smooth texture and a naturally sweeter profile, effectively reducing the bitterness often found in standard cold brew. The experience is frequently compared to the mouthfeel of a Guinness stout.

Innovation Through Nitrogen Harvesting

EverNitro distinguishes itself from competitors like NitroBrew by acting as an all-in-one, long-term solution. By utilizing advanced technology to harvest nitrogen directly from the surrounding air, the machine achieves 95% gas purity without requiring single-use canisters.

“We offer the quality of a commercial tap with the footprint of a coffee maker,” says Terry Tan, CEO and founder of XBrew Lab. “While others sell you gas, we give you the technology to harvest it for free.”

Performance and User Experience

In hands-on testing, the machine proved to be both compact and intuitive, fitting seamlessly into kitchen or home bar setups. The system is highly versatile, capable of handling coffee, cocktails, and various other beverages. Users maintain full control over the infusion process, with adjustable pressure settings ranging from 0 to 8 BAR.

The entire brewing cycle is remarkably efficient, taking only minutes from start to finish. Additionally, a dedicated companion app provides users with real-time updates and machine performance data.

Market Impact and Pricing

The product’s market viability is already proven, having secured over $570,000 during its Kickstarter campaign last October. While retail pricing for the Lite version is set at $470 and the Pro version at $583, it remains a cost-effective alternative to professional-grade systems that can exceed $1,000.

The Future of Beverage Texture

Looking beyond coffee, XBrew Lab is investigating how gas infusion can fundamentally transform a wider range of drinks. The team is currently exploring intelligent mixing technologies that could automatically select the optimal gas profile to enhance the body and mouthfeel of any beverage, from cocktails to specialty non-alcoholic drinks.
